 Realme is set to introduce its entry-level 5G smartphone, the Realme 12X, in India on April 2 at 12 PM. Before the official launch, the company released details regarding the price range and specifications of the Realme 12X 5G.

Chinese smartphone giant Realme has officially disclosed that the price of the Realme 12X 5G smartphone in India will fall below Rs 12,000. Asserting its position, the company declares that this upcoming model will mark the debut of a 5G-enabled phone priced below Rs 12,000, supporting 45W fast charging. Consumers can anticipate the availability of the smartphone for purchase through Flipkart and Realme India's official website.

It's worth noting that the preceding model, the Realme 11X smartphone, is priced at Rs 14,999 for the 6GB RAM and 128GB storage variant. Additionally, the e-commerce platform Flipkart has listed the phone on its online store, unveiling the specifications of the device.

The upcoming smartphone runs on the Realme UI 5.0 based on Android 14, the phone offers a user-friendly interface and the latest Android features. To maintain optimal performance, the phone will sport a VC cooling technology, enhancing efficiency during intensive tasks

It is worth noting the Realme 12X will support Air Gestures, similar to those in the Realme Narzo 70 Pro, and keep the dynamic button from the Realme 12.

The Realme 12X is equipped with a sizable 5,000mAh battery that supports 45W fast charging. Photography enthusiasts will appreciate its 50MP AI camera setup for capturing high-quality images, complemented by dual stereo speakers for immersive audio experiences. 

Adding further, it sports an IP54 rating for water and dust resistance, just like the models of the Realme 12 series.
